Measurement:
Before measurement, remove the protective cap, if crystals appear under it, this is not a reason to worry, this is normal for pH meter electrodes. The problem will disappear after rinsing the electrode with cleaning fluid/water. Turn on the pH meter using the button on the top of the device and immerse the electrode to the maximum permitted level. Gently swirl the meter in the solution and wait for the reading to stabilize.
Rinse the electrode with water after use to avoid contamination. Store the meter with a few drops of electrode storage fluid in the protective cap.
DO NOT USE WATER TO STORAGE THE ELECTRODE
Large differences in readings may be due to the need for calibration, a dry electrode or weak batteries.
