How often should I water my plants using Canna Terra Professional soil?

Adjust the amount of water to the plant's needs, depending on the size of the pot used, the conditions and the stage of development of the plant itself. Under normal conditions, fast-growing mature plants need around 4-6 litres of moisture per 1m2 per day.

Remember that the larger the pot, the more stable the root environment will be. Make sure there is sufficient drainage; you can place a thin layer of expanded clay on the bottom of the pot to allow drainage and air circulation.

Instructions for the first weeks of cultivation with Canna Terra Professional soil

A good start for the seedlings is extremely important for obtaining good yields. Pay attention to whether the seeds you have purchased are intended for outdoor cultivation (outdoors) or indoor cultivation (indoors). The germination process will be successful if you do the following:

1. Place your seeds in a glass container with water. If necessary, change the water daily. The seeds will be able to survive if a small root appears.
2. The roots should not be too long, as this can make them susceptible to damage, which can prevent the plant from forming.
3. Remove the sprouts from the water and gently place them, each one individually, in holes about 3 cm deep, then lightly cover them with potting soil. After about a week, the first plants should appear and if all goes well, 80-90% of them should have developed.
4. Place the plants in CANNA Terra Professional or CANNA Terra Professional Plus. Press the mixture down lightly. Aeration is very important for good root development.
5. Do not place the sprouts too deep - this can prevent them from developing further. The correct depth is about 1.5 cm.
6. To stimulate better root development and stabilize the cuttings, it is recommended to use Canna RHIZOTONIC rooting agent 2 or 3 times in the first week.
7. During the growth phase, use CANNA Terra Vega and for the flowering phase, use CANNA Terra Flores. The flowering phase begins after the first flowers appear.
