Bio Terra Plus is a fully organic mixture from Canna, created for the natural cultivation of flowering and fruiting plants. The substrate contains high-quality peat, tree bark and perlite, which allows to obtain a structure that promotes healthy root development and intensive absorption of nutrients. Bio Terra Plus supports the microbiological flora of the soil, which translates into stronger growth and resistance of plants. This is an excellent solution for those who want to grow plants in accordance with the principles of nature, without artificial additives.

Thanks to CANNA Research, it was possible to develop certified organic soil that meets international ecological standards. Bio Terra Plus consists of 100% natural materials and can therefore be used in organic farming.

Composition of the Biocanna Terra Plus substrate

Bio Terra Plus consists of the highest quality peat, including the highest quality white peat. The airy structure of the white peat is complemented by shredded tree bark, which has natural antifungal properties. BIO CANNA Bio Terra Plus contains only organic fertilizers of plant origin, which are released according to the needs of the plant. In this way, the plant always receives the optimal amount of nutrients.

High-quality peat

The peat used is of the highest quality and can only be found in a few places in the world. The longer peat fiber structures in Bio Terra Plus are much lighter, which is an absolute advantage for the plant. in contrast to cheaper versions much lighter.

Bark

The bark we use has special properties. Low-quality bark can often cause negative molds. The one used in Bio Terra Plus has antiseptic properties!

Self-regulation and slow-release effect in Biocanna Terra

Canna Bio Terra Plus is a pre-fertilized substrate mixture. The amount in which this pre-fertilizer is used by the soil depends on the degree of nutrient application. Bio Terra Plus regulates this itself. So when you apply less nutrients, it will use more pre-fertilizer, and when you apply more nutrients, the amount of pre-fertilizer needed will decrease. The pre-fertilization remains present in the soil, even if it is not (directly) necessary, the soil will retain the pre-fertilization for when it is needed. Self-regulation does not depend on the added water, but on the climatic temperatures.

Slow release means that the usable fertilizer is gradually released from the organic complexes and molecules contained in the substrate to the needs of the plant through a kind of decomposition. This process slows down when directed directly at the nutrients, when absorption occurs from the culture medium - and vice versa.

Protection against potential errors

Due to self-regulation and the slow release effect, it is difficult to make serious mistakes in fertilizing the plants!

The soil can correct the nutrient schedule itself if necessary.
